IDOU Brand Story (I Love Denzel & Ouida)

The story of IDOU begins with our founder Juliet, a woman in her thirties who knew what mattered most to her: her career, loved ones, and being outdoors. Several years ago, on a bike ride, Juliet and her husband Denzel were wearing reflective vests from the company she worked for. Unexpectedly, Denzel was injured. After investigating, they discovered that the reflective vest provided no reflective ability when the wearer was bent over.

Denzel's unfortunate incident prompted Juliet to research the quality of reflective gear on the market. To her dismay, she found that many brands were selling ineffective products that compromised their customers' safety. Many failed to provide an inclusive size range, and if they did, the sizes were misleading and not true to size. Others omitted essential features to save costs and expedite production.

To avoid future accidents, Juliet specially designed a reflective vest for Denzel. However, as her daughter Ouida grew, Juliet became concerned about Ouida's safety, so she soon began developing safety gear for her as well. Caring for her loved ones inspired Juliet to extend her talents and passion for safety and create something that would benefit everyone. This marked the beginning of IDOU.

Elastic Belt Thickening 50%: Our hi vis vest is made of the highest level of thickened fabric, which directly improves its quality, elasticity, and durability. After a period of use, ours are still stable, but other vests will lose elasticity due to very poor and thin materials. When pulled, the silver reflective stripping will fall off from the elastic bands, and the plastic adjustable sliders are also easy to loosen and unable to hold the strap.
